POWER
The dash cam battery will hold a minimal amount of charge. You MUST keep the dash cam plugged into a power source for continuous use.
TURNING OFF MOTION SENSOR
- Press the POWER button located on the left side of the unit, top button.
- Eject the memory card, which will stop the recording and allow access to the MENU.
- Press the MENU button located on the left side of the unit, bottom one.
- Use the down arrow button to navigate to Motion Detection. Press OK to uncheck it.
- Continue scrolling down to Parking Wake. Press OK to uncheck it.
- Press the MENU button to fully exit.
- Insert the SD card back into the slot.
DAY AND NIGHT TIME MODE/INFRARED LIGHT
- There is no automatic setting for the infrared light and must be manually changed from day to night or vice versa.
- Press the POWER button located on the left side of the unit, top button.
- Tap the POWER button to enable the infrared light. A lightning bolt icon will appear on the screen. Do this for night time mode.
- For day time mode, tap the POWER button after powering on. The lightning bolt icon will have a slash through it.
TRANSFERRING FILES TO YOUR COMPUTER
- Use the USB charge/sync cable to connect the camera to your computer.
- A pop-up screen on your camera will show MEMORY or VIDEO
- Selecting MEMORY will allow you to view and/or transfer the files to your computer. Camera buttons will not be functional.
- Selecting VIDEO allows the camera buttons to be functional while connected to the computer.
- Disconnect from the computer after data has been transferred.
